Our goals are the revival of Afghan puppet theatre traditions, as well as the development of a modern Afghan puppet theatre. Afghan children are not familiar with theatre. The promotion of the puppet theatre is our contribution to the access for children to theatre. While making such a decision a good consideration was given to the positive role that puppet theatre can play in education, information and in promoting social cohesion.

The plays and performance for children and youth are developed with the assistance of the Garman puppet theatre expert Wieland Jagodzinski, teacher at the department of puppet theatre, Ernst Busch Academy of Drama, Berlin.
